Natural Australian Spring Water

Why Drink Tap Water?

TAP WATER is rainwater accumulated in major reservoirs which are open to the elements. Before it reaches your home as tap water it is treated to kill bacteria - generally with chlorine gas. It is also treated to remove sediment and aluminium sulphate is often used despite aluminium's well known adverse affect on memory.
Dewdrop Springs Springwater

A natural product without additives

Dewdrop Spring Water is a great tasting natural product that does not contain additives or chemicals. Doctors and nutritionists recommend we drink up to 8 glasses of water per day.

Quality water every time
Every container of bottled water is of the same quality. It is consistent and it is inspected and monitored. Unfortunately, tap water can be inconsistent – sometimes it might be acceptable while other times it can be questionable.

Nutritional Information

Calcium (18 Mg/L)
is the most prevalent mineral in our bodies. It is the principal component for the growth and maintenance of healthy teeth and bones.
Magnesium (5 Mg/L)
is the essential mineral for healthy muscle tone and is essential for well-balanced nerve functions. It also aids in the metabolism of calcium and Vitamin C and the body needs it to convert blood sugar to energy – a “tonic” nutrient.
Potassium (1 Mg/L)
benefits muscle building and promotes vigour and energy.

Taste Information

Sodium (27 Mg/L)
is essential to human life. It aids in the proper functioning of muscles and nerves while enhancing digestion. While historically used as a popular flavour additive, consumer taste has shifted away from overly salty foods and our low level of sodium should satisfy those who are controlling their salt intake.
Chloride (14 Mg/L)
are important in the human body as they contribute to the osmotic activity of body fluid.
Bicarbonates (110 Mg/L)
are found in some spring waters, including Dewdrop Natural Spring Water. As they have long been valued as a digestive aid, we view them as an important natural component in a first-class spring water.
Other Information
Dewdrop Spring Water is a natural product that does not contain additives or chemicals. Doctors and nutritionists recommend we drink up to 8 glasses of water per day to keep our bodies hydrated.

Dewdrop Spring Water is a healthy alternative to sweetened carbonated beverages and the caffeine found in coffees and teas.

Reality check: Spring water is the purest health option!
It’s universal knowledge that we must drink water to survive, but there are various types of water available and which one is best for inner health ? Consider the following six options:
Tap water
Filtered tap water
Rain Water
Distilled water
Processed bottled water
Spring water
TAP WATER is rainwater accumulated in major reservoirs which are open to the elements. Before it reaches your home as tap water it is treated to kill bacteria – generally with chlorine gas. It is also treated to remove sediment and aluminium sulphate is often used despite aluminium’s well known adverse affect on memory. After this treatment, your home tap water travels sometimes hundreds of kilometres through potentially century-old rusting pipes which risk absorption of new bacteria, asbestos from cement, lead from old solder, backflow (reverse siphonage) as well as copper contamination from high rise building plumbing.

The use of chlorine in town water supply can dissipate or create dangerous by-products such as Trichlormethane which are potentially carcinogenic.

And if that is not enough, the water from the household tap invariably tastes lousy!
FILTERED tap water takes the same water described above by trapping or absorbing the pollutants, which reach your home. A plumber is required to fit the system. The major drawback to this option is that the filters clog up frequently and have to be changed or worse, the filter could be so clogged that the very pollutants you hope to stop, get through. No single type of filter fixes all the water problems; however by using a combination of filter systems it is possible to reduce the risks.
RAIN WATER is a common source of natural water but more suitable for gardens and other outdoor use. The way it is collected and protected is critical to its quality.
DISTILLED water option is not simply boiling your water in open air or at home. That may be good for killing bacteria, but it actually increases the percentage of heavy metals and other non-evaporated chemicals in the tap water system.

Distilled water is not harmful to the body. However, it does not have the natural minerals that help the taste and that the body needs for its nourishment.

Generally, distilled water is not a preferred option for drinking water.
PROCESSED bottled water option is a product made in factories by creating distilled water through either steam distillation or micron filtration – then by adding back natural minerals to improve the taste and natural goodness of the water.
SPRING WATER option has its foundations from a different source: it is natural water that has been filtered through layers of sand and rock formations as it moves through underground contamination-free storage areas called aquifers.

This process, which could start off from a source thousands of kilometres away, is a natural filtration that often takes decades or up to 100 years to accomplish. It is nature at its natural best. The result is clean rainwater which has been value-added through the intake of minerals from underground rock formations.

Good spring source management requires not taking out water from the underground aquifer any faster than it is going in. Following the manufacturing practices and testing procedures required by the Australasian Bottled Water Institute (ABWI), the spring water is taken from underground, micro-filtered and passed through an ultraviolet process to destroy bacteria and other contaminants before being bottled for distribution.

Benefits of Dewdrop Water

Organisational Health and Safety
A quality water supply helps you to meet your Organisational Health and Safety responsibilities and reduces workers’ compensation costs. Dehydration has many physical impacts on employees including headaches, muscle cramps, increased fatigue and reduced concentration. Keeping well hydrated is essential for good health. Dewdrop Water replaces vital minerals that employees lose in hot working environments. Providing a quality product that employees enjoy increases their likelihood of staying hydrated and therefore reduces the risk of dehydration related incidents.
Productivity
Plumbed in filtration systems are expensive to install and are significantly limited in their placement. However, water coolers are compact and take up minimal space. Their portability allows them to be placed in accessible locations resulting in increased staff productivity.
Taste
Chlorine is most often used to disinfect tap water. This can leave an after-taste and cause other problems. Most expects now agree that there are some significant risks related to consuming chlorine and chlorinated by-products found in drinking water. Inorganic matter from natural vegetation also builds up in water pipes causing sediment. This can cause bad tastes and odours.
Quality
Consistent quality and taste are two of the principle differences between bottled and tap water. Every container of bottled water is of the same quality. It is consistent and it is inspected and monitored. Unfortunately, tap water can be inconsistent – sometimes it might be acceptable while other times it can be questionable.

Tap water filtration systems gradually clog, resulting in declining effectiveness and can also lead to contamination from bacterial growth. It is difficult to monitor the quality of water filtered by these systems and therefore accurately identify when filters should be replaced.
br/>Metals and heavy metals such as lead, copper and aluminium are often present in plumbing or water mains impacting on the quality of tap water.
Morale
Providing employees with a quality product makes them feel valued and appreciated. Companies with high levels of employee satisfaction experience higher productivity and lower absenteeism.
Service
Service is our highest priority. We can deliver “on-demand” to suit your operating requirements.
